Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-29.
What we collect
- Account: the name on your invite, your plan and its end date, and a scrambled (hashed) copy of your phone's access key. We never see your Facebook or Craigslist accounts.
- Searches: what you search for, the town and distance you choose, price ranges and hide words.
- Results and alerts: the public listings that matched your searches and when we alerted you.
- Technical: IP addresses and request times in our server logs, kept for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise phone location, or advertising identifiers, and the app has no ads or analytics trackers.
How we use it
Only to run FindFirst: to check marketplaces for your searches, show results and send alerts, manage your plan, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
- OVHcloud hosts our server.
- ScrapeCreators receives search words and map coordinates (not your name) to fetch public Facebook Marketplace results.
- When Craigslist is part of a plan, Craigslist receives the same search words and coordinates.
- If you pay online, the payment provider processes your payment details; we never see your full card number.
Storage and deletion
Saved listings stay on your phone. Account data stays on our server while your account is active. Ask us to delete it at any time and we delete it within 30 days; we also delete accounts within 30 days after a plan ends unless you renew.
Your choices
You can see and edit your searches in the app, turn alerts off, and sign out. To access, correct or delete your data, use the contact details in your invite message.
Children
FindFirst is not for children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies.
